Last month Raise Healthy Eaters turned one. I wanted to do something special for you, my readers, to thank you for your support. But it took a little time to make happen. Or at least that’s my excuse for the belated gift-giving.
In the survey, I conducted last fall many of you said “time” was your biggest barrier to preparing balanced meals. I make no secret that I LOVE the slow cooker for this very reason. It’s the ultimate meal-making time saver.
According to Consumer Search, All-Clad is one of the top-rated slow cookers. It’s made of stainless steel and it’s programmable meaning you can instruct it when to stop cooking and switch to warm. It retails for $199.99.
So, I wrote the folks at All Clad, told them how great you all are, and asked them to donate one. Add they said “yes!”
But I thought that with summer coming many of you might stop using the slow cooker. This would be a mistake because there’s so much more to the crockpot than stews and soups.
I got in touch with Stephanie O’ Dea from A Year of Slow Cooking. Her bestselling book, Make it Fast, Cook it Slow, is a great example of what is possible with the slow cooker, even in the summer. She agreed to send the winner a copy of her book.
So, the winner of this anniversary giveaway will get a top-of-the-line slow cooker and an awesome cookbook written by a busy mom of three. If I could enter this giveaway I would. But that would be unethical (right??).
Okay. Here’s what you have to do to enter:
1) Leave a comment saying why you like the slow cooker or why you want one.
2) For an additional entry, sign up for email updates or RSS Feed. If you already subscribe tell at least one friend about Raise Healthy Eaters. Leave another comment saying what you did.
3) To increase your chances further, become a Facebook fan. If you are already a fan, suggest some of your friends become a fan. Leave another comment saying what you did.
4) And for a bonus entry, tweet or blog about this giveaway.
This giveaway will end next Friday the 23rd at midnight. The winner will be picked at random.org. Good luck!
Don’t miss some of my crockpot favorites recipes.

I love the smell of dinner already cooking when we get home in the afternoon!!! Slow cookers are awesome and I would LOVE this one. 🙂
Okay, I already subscribe to updates, but I told my sis and sis-in-law about the site!
Yea! I didn’t even know you were on Facebook… now I’m a fan.
And for entry #4- I shared on Facebook! Who knows- maybe I’ll win. 🙂
With the varied schedules we’re keeping these days, a slow cooker seems like a great solution for hot food at different times of the evening. Now that I’ve dug around on the web for recipes (and you’re also including a cookbook!), there are lots of dishes I’m looking forward to trying in this if I win. Thanks for the chance!
I’ve subscribed to your RSS email updates.
For 5 months after my husband and I moved into our home, we didn’t have a stove or oven. So I had to learn other way of preparing meals. My favorite way to prepare a meal was in the crock pot. I still use it often, even though we had an range now.
I already subscribed to the RSS feed, so I told my mom about it.
I am now a fan on facebook
I also blogged about it.
I followed Stephanie on her blog for a year and would love to have her cookbook! And the crock pot looks wonderful. Mine is a little small!
My old slow cooker broke last fall and it is not in the budget to replace it right now. I miss having one SO much, this would be wonderful!
Entry #2, got my sister to join up!
Oh, I would LOVE to win this. I have a slow cooker, but it’s an old one and it’s on it’s last leg. Plus being programable would be so nice!
I subscribe! And I’m passing along your site to a few healthy cooks I know.
I would love a new slow cooker- mine is horrible- we got 5 for our wedding and this was the only one we couldn’t return, so we were stuck with it…but it’s definitely time for a new one!
I would love a slow cooker because I never learned to cook. With two young kids, I am trying to learn, but it is harder than it looks! haha Also, one child is nearing a diagnosis of celiac disease, which will be a total blow to our barely-there menu. eek!
I already subscribe to your feed! Yay me!
Just became a facebook fan!
I put a link on my blog about this website in general and again about this drawing! Woot! Woot!
Oh, I would love to have Stephanie’s book and the awesome crockpot! I’ve been coveting it for along time but have resisted since it’s so spendy!! What a great gift!!
I didn’t know you were on FB – I just became a fan -yay!! And it looks like you post more than just your blog posts – awesome!!
I already subscribe to your feed, but I just forwarded to a few of my friends who are having little ones!!
And I shared this post on FB! Happy Friday:)
I love using the slow cooker because it makes me feel like I’m an old fashioned home-maker that spent the entire day cooking for my family, even though I work full-time and take online courses late-nights, with two toddlers. Dinner is an important time for our family and sharing this time over a hot meal is valuable without the stress of cooking after a long day.
What a great idea. I would love to have a slow cooker…would totally help us add more variety on those long soccer practice nights! Signed up for your email updates and fanned you on Facebook too. 🙂
Hi, just became a fan and retweeted from @azhothomedeals Thanks!
My lid on my old slow cooker broke and I really need a new one. I love all clad, they make great products.
I love my slow cooker but could always upgrade. I use the slow cooker on the days I’m writing as I get so engrossed in what I’m doing I don’t want to stop to cook. Setting up the cooker before I get to my desk saves my family from many a burned dinner.
I would love to have a new slow cooker! My current one is one I got before I got married almost 13 years ago. It is SO old! I love to use my slow cooker a lot throughout the summer. Anything to have me not slaving away in a hot kitchen is a bonus!
I shared your site with my daughter. She’s a vegetarian so could use a slow cooker to her advantage.
I use the crockpot a lot. It has become a very close family member to me! LOL! There are so many days that are so full, that there is no time to get dinner ready, that’s when my friend, the crockpot, steps in and makes it all better!:) Having one this ‘fancy’ would simply be icing on the cake,so to speak, and give us a great opportunity to have ‘it’make the meals even more than me! LOL!
I love using a slow cooker to have a healthy meal ready at the end of a busy day.
I already subscribe through my reader. I have told my sister about you , and am going to tell my best friend, who loves healthy recipes!
I recently became a SAHM and have discovered the slow cooker! I use it a few times a week, however mine is on its last leg. I love how easy it is to get dinner ready while I play with my two sons; ages 3 and 1. Now if I could just get the three year old to eat what I cook. lol
Became a fan on FB.
Sharing with all my friends!!!! I did before the contest too. 😉
I would love a new slow cooker, my husband works out of town and I have 3 kids that cannot wait to eat when we get home!
I am really getting into this web site. And, I have wanted to try a slow cooker for such a long time, but juggling work and a 2 year old has made my focus fizzle.
I just became a fan on facebook 🙂
I would love a large slow cooker. My girls are growing up and our little one is not large enough for a large meal. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

I love the slow cooker because I can just throw ingredients into in the morning and come back to my apartment to enjoy at the end of the day. I have been thinking of trying a dessert in the crock pot so that will be my next step!
I would love this slow cooker because the one I have cooks too hot and turns everything into leather in 4 hours. This is the highest rated slow cooker – I’d love to try it!!

Crockpots rock! How can you not totally adore them? They make supper so easy.
Oooh! That slow cooker is so pretty and shiny! I love being able to throw everything in and be done.
Sadly, I do not have a crock pot. I’ve been meaning to look into getting one for a while. Perhaps I’ve been too busy blogging. I hear nothing but great things about them. A free one would be the tops!
I’m already subscribed via RSS AND follow you on Twitter, but now I’m a facebook fan as well!
I’d LOVE to win this crockpot! I’ve used mine so much that the handles are broken. My crockpot is my lifesaver (and timesaver) as a busy SAHM to three young kids!

Just found your site – can’t wait to have a look around. Dream of owning an All-Clad crock pot to replace my cheaper brand that is ready to go to crock pot heaven.
…I’ve also subscribed to your e-mail list. Anxious to get your messages – I’ve got five healthy eaters to raise!
I have used my crockpot about 10 times in 7 years. I always say it must be a very cheap wedding present I got because the food is always burned, dry, or just doesn’t taste right. This looks amazing and I think I would use it all the time. I am excited to start getting your emails.
I never cook and am afraid of what might happen, but my sister keeps trying to talk me into cooking so maybe I will win!!
I just signed up for your RSS feed and to receive email updates!
I think it would be great to put a roast on and come home from work and it be ready this would be wonderful! I don’t have a crockpot.
i want a new slow cooker because mine is from the 70’s… it is older then i am! i have an unhealthy obsession with cooking in my crock pot… but i think that it does not feel the same way. Since im a college kid this would be perfect!
i am now a facebook fan!

I added you to my favorites on my blog. What a great site you have!
I so need a new crock pot
I use our crockpot at least once a week. I work and my husband stays home. Nothing is better than coming home to a dinner that is made and a husband who didn’t just have to make dinner.
I would love a new slow cooker. My old one is small and I have 5 kids to feed! Thanks so much for the opportunity to win!

I would love to win this slow cooker to give to my sister. She uses hers all the time, but it’s really old. In fact she cooked with nothing else for several months.
I love my crockpot! I just doesn’t get any easier to have dinner ready with so little effort! What an awesome giveaway!

I love using a slow cooker because I have much more motivation to prep food in the morning than in the afternoon. It’s so simple to just toss it all in! I love that this one has a 26 hour timer. Sounds like a great feature!
aaaaaand, I just became a FB fan. 🙂
I would love to win this prize!
I’m excited about the prospect of the combination of crockpot cooking AND healthy cooking. All my old recipes seem to be either/or.

I don’t tweet, blog, or facebook (yet), but I did email my sis to tell her about this great site!
because we never had one 🙁
I love it to cook up a batch of chicken breasts that I use all week chopped up in salads. But it on at night -go to bed – wake up to heavenly smell and a quick lunch to take to work.
I love using a crockpot because I just throw the ingredients in it in the morning and presto yummy dinner 8 hours later! I have 3 kids who keep me very busy so anything to make putting a nice meal on the table easier & quicker is a big plus 🙂 thanks for the opportunity to win this awesome giveaway!

jeanie in a jar basically, they are such time savers
When I have dinner done in the morning, when my son is the happiest, it makes it easier to get dinner on the table during his most fussy time.
i love coming home after a long day and dinner being ready!
I like the ability to throw something in the crockpot earlier in the day and come back later and have it be done.
I need this slow cooker because mine is about to die!
Love the website! Thank Stephanie @ A Year of Slow Cooking for sending me here. Would love to win the crockpot and book!
I am an email subscriber!
I would love a new Crock Pot and Stephanie’s book. Being a new mom again (like Stephanie) I have barely no time to prepare meals and would never want to carry baby while cooking over a hot stove. Crock Pots help me create fast and healthy meals for my family. I’m gonna tweet this after commenting ^_^ Thank you!
I would just love to win. The crock pot would be a great gift for my son’s birthday, he recently started cooking and could really use it. Thanks!!
I need a new crockpot. The one we got at our wedding 10 years ago (you know, the ones they sell at walmart for $10) is totally going to die soon. It has a big crack inside and my hubby was wondernig if it might be contaminating the food. Since I’m too cheap to replace it, I just only run it on HI
lol!

I have been wanting to try using a slow cooker for awhile but have not yet decided which one to buy….a free one would be great..
I would love to win the crockpot. I have been learning more about slow cooking and would definitely put this one and the book to work.
I would like to win because my old crockpot is fading fast. I never knew you could bake a cake…make candles…fragrance your home…and cook breakfast, lunch, or dinner in it. Once I discovered the versatility of my crockpot it got alot more use. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway. Good luck everyone!
My crock pot is old and seems to burn in the same spot every time. It’s time for a new one.

i always love to try things concerning cooking and baking and i have never had a slow cooker. would love to have it:)) have a great weekend!
I like to use a crockpot for potlucks. Great comfort food and this looks like a fabulous crockpot for sharing meals.
I would love the crockpot and cookbook. Just found you site, it great.
I love the slow cooker because I can put dinner on in the morning when I have more energy; then, at night when I’m tired or more busy, it’s mostly all done…it practically cooked itself and all I had to do was put it in and take it out!
What a great giveaway. I would love this cookbook, so I could slow cook more often to accommodate our busy schedules. Also, I love everything that all-clad makes!
It is so nice to have supper ready to put on the table when we’ve been out all day. We have a large family and it can be pretty chaotic when we’ve been out running errands all day – we come in at supper time – dad comes home hungry from work – everybody is s-t-a-r-v-i-n-g.

Just subscribed! I love discovering healthy eating websites. Hm. I don’t have a slow cooker so I’m using my rice cooker. A poor substitution I admit.
Hey girl, I posted this on some of the “freebie” sites on FB. Should increase your traffic. Also posted on our HKC FB page.

Linked you on my blog’s site and told my friend about you!
Just became a FB Fan, plus I shared this on my page 🙂 I’ve enjoyed reading your blog and I’m sure I’ll be reading more.
I have always wanted a Crockpot/slow cooker and I’ve always hinted to the hubby that I wanted one, well he got me a small dip size one..men!lol. I need to learn more idea’s for cooking in the crock, and if I win my family will have more home cooked meals.
Love the Crockpot! Works great for homemade chicken stock. Throw a chicken in on top of some veggies (carrots, celery, onions, parsely), cook 4 hours … take out the chicken, use the meat for soup or chicken salad of tacos then put the carcass and some extra necks or feet and water and cook for 12-24 hrs. Yum!
The crockpot I got for a wedding gift (years ago!!) is entirely too small for many of the recipes I have tried for our family….and I’d LOVE to have the cookbook because the only c.p. recipe my husband has liked so far has been pulled pork. He says all the rest have the same kind of taste. Clearly~ I need a new cookbook!! Thanks!!
And I’m telling a friend about this site today when she comes to pick up her daughter!!
I love to use the slowcooker for meat and soups. I would LOVE to get summer recipe ideas!
A slow cooker would be a great help in our quest to feed our family healthy meals. I am trying to help them to make good choices and we are working at eating at home more. It needs to be easy or it doesn’t happen for us. Thanks for spreading the message of raising healthy eaters!
I need to learn more about HEALTHY slow cooker cooking.
I would love the slow cooker to avoid heating up the oven during the summer.
What could be better than coming home at the end of a long day to dinner ready in the crock pot? A new crock pot and a great cookbook. Heavenly.
I really enjoy using a slowcooker, and can you have too many? Probably, but I’d also love the book. You definitely can never have too many of those. Thanks for the giveaway.
I would love to update my very small and old crock….something to be proud of when I take it to a Pot Luck
I enjoy using my crock pot because it’s so forgiving. I would love this cookbook tooo. Thanks for the chance.. I came from Stephanies blog.
I re tweeted the giveaway! from @atonewithhim
I told my daughter about the giveaway! She’ll be here for sure!
I love that this slowcooker has a programmable feature. As a working mom, using a slowcooker is a great way to have dinner waiting when we get home and not be tempted to get pizza. The programmable feature on this model would be perfect, because I’m often limited by what recipes I can make since I leave so early in the morning and don’t want to risk having food overcook.
If I win this slow cooker I would give it to my sister. She is learning how to cook now and loves anything that can be made in a slow cooker. She’s 6 months pregnant so something like this would make her life much easier and help her learn about healthy foods for her growing family.
I love crockpot cooking!! I recently broke the ceramic insert to my large crockpot and I miss it terribly!!
I signed up for your email updates as well 🙂
I would like this slow cooker to take to my daughter’s for the summer she’s having her second baby we could throw in dinner head to the beach then come home and enjoy. Thanks

I went back to work this year after 7 years of being a SAHM, so a crock-pot is a huge help. That said, my crock-pot is old and can’t be programmed to switch to warm. I would love to win this, and Stephanie’s recipes are great.
I shared this post on Facebook!
I also subscribed to your RSS feed.
I would like to have the crockpot because I love to use them. I need a larger one to use when my whole family comes to visit. I love the fact that I can put something in, forget it, and then it’s ready to serve. I can visit with guests instead of staying in the kitchen all day.
I would love to win this crockpot & cookbook.
My crockpot is pretty old, so I’d love to replace it with a new one like this!
Like most people, my favorite thing about the crockpot is that I can put the ingredients together in the morning & have a wonderful supper all ready at suppertime.
I don’t have facebook/twitter but I will tell some friends.
Thanks for the chance to win these!
Would so like to win so i can give them to my niece who is starting out on her own, producing Broadway plays and working so hard there is little time to cook, thought she enjoys it and enjoys eating great meals. She is like a daughter to me and I know the slow cooker and cookbook would make her life just a little simpler.
We never eat out! NEVER! A slow cooker is perfect for kinda taking the night off from cooking without really going out. I need a new slow cooker and would love a book full of recipe inspirations!
I want to be a mommy with healthy kids. I would LOVE the book and crockpot.
thank you
The convenience factor is why I love a crockpot! Plus the food is always so tasty cooked low and slow. I just found your website on The Pioneer Woman and I would love to win a new crockpot and the cookbook!
wow this is so much nicer than my REALLY old one that has been used way too much! I have been wanting a new one since I had my first child a month ago.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I love crockpots!! My father gave me mine 17 years ago. Perhaps it’s time for an upgrade!
I would love a new slow cooker. We use ours for a few staple recipes that we have but would love to venture out
I LOVE using the crockpot and I LOVE Stephanie’s recipes. I post them on my blog often. While I love my crock pot, it’s old and not so pretty anymore. I’d love a new one! Thanks!
I would LOVE a slow cooker so I don’t have to spend hours prepping dinner every night for my boyfriend. It would be great to just throw a bunch of things into the cooker and relax and still have dinner ready when he gets home 🙂
I would love a new crockpot and the cookbook to go along with it. It will be great fun to try new recipes !!!
And I just subscribed to your RSS! Looking forward to reading more recipes!

I use my slow cooker often and would love a new and updated one – my dream one would have a “warm” option! Thanks for the giveaway!
Love the timer feature on this new crock! I followed Stephanie on her 365 journey and would love a copy of her book!
I would love a new state-of-the-art crockpot. Mine is so old the ‘crock’ is non removeable and very hard to clean. To progam mine to stop/start when I’m not home, I have to use my christmas light timer!!
I would love to have this crock pot because mine doesn’t have a timer… I would get tons of use out of that feature!
OMG I love crockpots! We use it year round and my husband makes fun of me because I have three- three different sizes depending on what I’m making! My biggest one is older than I am though, I think I need an upgrade! 😀
My crockpot? From my wedding. Fourteen years ago. Pity me…especially since I use it A LOT.
I have tweeted, fanned your site and now I’m leaving a comment. Can you tell I like that crockpot??
=) I’m planning to make a recipe tomorrow from “Make It Fast, Cook It Slow” and I know it will be yummy. Thanks for the chance to win that awesome little appliance!

I love cooking with my crockpot. I honestly don’t know how I’d do without it. I had no idea there were ones so fancy in the cooking universe though. Wow!

Oh, I dream of having a slow cooker! We are just entering late Autumn here in Qld Australia so it’s the perfect time of year to start making all those delicious cold weather dishes. I’m a real one-pot-wonder type of cook, we have a 2 year old and a baby due in August so any domestic help I can get would be fantastic. Thanks for the chance to enter. : )

I love slow cooking! It makes life so much easier on those crazy, chaotic days. I need some new recipes for sure!
I’m not a great stove top cook. I know a few recipes and thank god my family members are not very picky or I’d be in trouble! I’ve always wanted to try slow cooking and finally decided to just buy one and dive in. I found the website A Year of Slow Cooking and just fell in love with the idea that cooking could be so easy. I bought a slow cooker but it’s kindda small…the one that is being given away looks awesome! I also just signed up for email update! Thanks! =)
I’m a grad student. enough said 😉
Ah, I LOVE All-Clad and to have an All-Clad crock-pot (which I can’t afford) to replace my hand me down late 80’s one would make my year thus far!!
I own a very old crockpot, use it occasionally, and I think my life would be so much easier if I used a crockpot more often. One like this one you’re giving away!
I would LOVE this crockpot because I want a crock that isn’t plastic and stainless is just so much better! I can’t afford/justify this on my own with the current budget but wow, would I ever use it!
I just subscribed via bloglines!
I am now a fan on facebook. Can’t wait to see what you post on that!
As a working mom, I can make sure my family eats good food with a crockpot, and it would be especially nice with a fancy one like this!
I love cooking in a crockpot- this one would be soooo much bigger than the one I have- very nice! Thanks for the giveaway!
I LOVE my slow cooker but would really LOVE this new baby. WOW! If I win, I will happily re-gift the cookbook since I already own Stephanie’s book and think it’s a winner.
Crockpots are one of the best inventions for working women who still love a good home-cooked meal! I would love to win this new crockpot!
I also signed up for your emails!
I love the programable times! I consitantly over cook foods because it doesn’t have an auto setting like that.
i don’t do much cooking – but when i do, i use my old, sad, crockpot.
The crockpot looks great and I would love to have a cookbook with some great recipes….I have yet to find a slow cooker recipe book with a very good selection of recipes!
I WOULD LOVE A NEW CROCK POT, MINE IS OLD AND I HAD TO HAVE MY HUSBAND PUT A POT HANDLE ON THE LID BECAUSE MINE BROKE OFF. AND A BOOK WITH SLOW COOKER RECIPIES IN IT WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS.
Time to retire my OLD slow cooker and get a new one!
I would love that slow cooker! My baby just began to crawl so I would love to be able to get cooking done during naptime and have it ready at dinner time. Cooking with a crawler in the kitchen is impossible!!
I would love to win the crock pot. It looks like a super one. Mine is old. I am not very good with the crock pot so I really need a good cook book.
I Love the slow cooker cause it makes the meat taste so much better & life is so much easier!
Wonderful give away – thanks for featuring it on your blog~
I have been consistenly checking your blog as well as Stephanie’s looking for ideas, I normally cook everything from scratch, trying to get healthier, but never used the slowcooker. I am saving to buy one, so even though it seems unlikely for me to win one, I might as well try. It am a but hesistant to leave a pot cooking while I am at work, do they have a timer, can I program it. Those are probably the most expensive ones. Love your ideas for healthy cooking.
Thanks,
Diana
I would love a new cockpot! Mine has seen many years of use. This one is so shiny and pretty too!
This is the crockpot that America’s Test Kitchen recommends and it seems to be better than my really old one that either doesn’t cook or burns the food.
I just subscribed
I’m now a fan on facebook.
I have a good crock pot so if I won this one I would give it to my friend who just dropped hers last week, totally broken. 🙁
I also just became a fan on facebook.
Slow cooker recipes – says it all…I love trying new things in the slow cooker and having dinner ready when you get home after a long day at work, is there anything better? nope 🙂
I need a new crockpot because I just made my first crockpot into a planter for my kitchen. It died after 20 years. What a faithful cooking companion!
Awesome giveaway! I would love the crockpot and cookbook to be able to cook awesome meals for my hubby!

I loved my crockpot and it died at Christmas. I loved being able to set it up the night before, put the insert in the fridge, then in the morning, just plug her in and let her rip.
When I come home from work, and if the side was egg noodles, I would put a pan of water on, get changed, check my email, kids set the table and before you know it, dinner is done. I love the smell of dinner cooking when I walk into the door.
I’d love a chance to win! I have an older crock pot that I use at least weekly for our family of 7 (soon to be 8 with baby due in less than two weeks!). I’d love a programmable crock pot as that is one feature I’ve never been able to utilize!!! And, I’ve been eye-ing Stephanie’s cookbook for months now!!! I was a every day visitor to her blog during her 365 challenge. Thanks for the chance to win!
Oooh I’ve been dying to make my pineapple chicken for the fiance – and maybe pot roast too. It would be great to have the slow cooker I need to do that!
Just signed up for the email updates 🙂
I desperately want a new one. Mine isn’t large enough to make everything that I would like to.

I only used one once, and I loved it. I can’t wait to try it more.
I use the slow cooker in the summer so I don’t heat up my kitchen – the control nob has broken off the cooker I have. My son in law glued it back together, but I don’t think it will last long. Hopefully it will last until I win this new one!
The handles have come off my crockpot.
Love using one and make things to take to
church fellowships all the time.
Would love the book also.
I love slow cooking my silverside Mmmmmmmm… With a 5 month old in the house its is awesome to get dinner on when she is having her morning sleep.

I neeed a new crock pot! I just got a new job and the crock pot is a great way to make sure they eat right if I’m still at work.
By the way a good reason to use it in the summer is it won’t heat up your kitchen like the oven does!
I hope I win! *crossing my fingers*

I’d love a new slow cooker–I use mine at least once a week. We bought our current one used, with a funny lid, so a fully functioning one would be awesome. Thanks for the fun giveaway!
Convenience + savings : who wouldn’t love that? And who wouldn’t LOVE one of these cool crock pots (not to mention the awesome book)? 😉
I would love this crockpot as my current one tends to burn/overcook things

I need a crock-pot. Mine is begging to be retired. Her nobs have all broken off and she doesn’t clean up like she use to.
I subscribed to you and am so glad that I found you!

I’m a grandma and out of practice cooking, but my son and his wife are super busy with preschool children and demanding jobs, so I’m trying to help by making a couple of meals a week. Since I also have a life, I need to learn some slow-cooker magic! I would love to win, this could save my reputation!
I became a facebook fan!
My slow cooker is from the 70s. It has outlasted three husbands, five dogs, and three cats. I am several years husband- and pet-free but me I still love my slow cooker. Would I love a new one? You betcha.
Neat looking crockpot…..and new recipes too…perfect.
put the word out on Facebook today. Great idea!
I love slow cookers! They are so easy! Everything that goes in them amazingly comes out perfect and wonderful. It also gives so much more time to play with your kids 🙂
OH! how I would love that crockpot and cookbook! I mostly use my old crockpot to keep things warm in at potlucks…I cook most things elsewhere and then shovel ’em in and plug it in!…Looks nice and homey, keeps things warm, but other than my “Old Settler’s Beans” and Taco Soup, that’s pretty much the way things go. Since I’ve never won anything online this would be really exciting! Just discovered your blog; enjoying it alot. Thanks for the chance!
I work full time and I go to school nights – the only way I have a hot, home cooked meal is when I have my crock pot going. It’s a cheapy 20 dollar one and I’m dying for an upgrade – mine’s on the way out.
Just added the email feed update!
I’ve also become a fan on facebook!
So, I downloaded your grocery list and meal plan; VERY NICE! thank you
AND I signed up for your email updates! Thank you!
I work 12 hour shifts and would love to have a nice slow cooker to facilitate in having meals ready when I get home.
I just became a fan on Facebook! Yay! another chance to win that fantastic looking crockpot and cookbook. I need it badly! 🙂
AND I just added your website to my status and told everyone about your blog! Slowcooker come to Mama!
I, as I am sure many stay at home moms will appreciate a slow cooker that will allow me to feed my family a healthy good meal with out having to be hours in the kitchen. May the winning favor be with me : )
With two little ones, using the slow cooker has been very helpful. Once they have gone to bed, I can start the following day’s meal. After working all day, I can easily heat up or finish the preparation of dinner. Using a slow cooker takes away the stress of preparing a meal for my family.
I would love a slow cooker because I’m a terrible cook and I think this would be an easy way for me to make really fabulous meals!
I would love a new crock pot and the lovely cookbook. My crock pot is the answer for dinner on the nights I am on call at the hospital and have to work late.
I love slowcookers because the flavors all combine in wonderful ways and it makes the house smell wonderful.

I would love to win this because the crockpot I use cooks too fast! Every recipe I’ve ever used has cooked in half the time in my slow cooker (yes, I have it on low). I’m hoping a new slowcooker will remedy that and I’d love to use it in conjunction with this book!
I love slowcookers and Stephanie’s recipes! Our slowcooker is kind of old and we’d love a new state-of-the-art one!!
I have an older one but is sometimes turns off abruptly during the first hour. This one looks really nice! I love crockpots, just need to use it more often 🙂
I would love to win a new slow cooker! I currently have one but it’s small and not very good. I would go out an buy one but were on a limited budget right now and it will have to wait.
I love my slow cooker because I can start a meal early in the morning while I still have energy and them in the evening all the work is done. Not to mention that it also means only having one dish to clean up and avoiding the drive thru at dinner time.
I hope I win.
I just signed up for your e-mail updates. Love your site. I found it through $5 dinners.
I would love to own a programmable crockpot and the awesome cookbook!
I use my crockpot because there are certain things we make that just taste better when cooked slowly in a slow cooker!
I would love to win the crockpot and cookbook. My crockpot took a dive off the clothes dryer (my husband thought that was a good place to leave it while it was drying clothes) and died a messy death.
I use my slow cooker for healthy meals that are ready when I get home from work!
I would like a slow cooker because I am a busy mom. I would love to be able to walk in the door, sit down and eat dinner. As it is right now, I walk in the door, open the fridge to find nothing, open the pantry to find nothing then order a pizza.
Love, love, love the slow cooker – such a feeling of accomplishment when you make dinner before leaving for work! Not to mention how good the house smells when you arrive home to ready-made dinner. This cooker looks awesome and I am a fan of the cookbook as well.
I signed up for the email updates. Thanks again for a great giveaway!
As my kids get older and we have more baseball games and such in the late afternoon, I’m finding that crockpot recipes are the magic answer to a healthy dinner! Unfortunately, I have some old cheap crockpot from forever ago! I’d LOVE to have a new one! Thanks for the giveaway!
The crockpot has always seemed like a great idea — but the few times I’ve tried I haven’t had much luck. I’m inspired by the posts I’ve seen though and want to give it another go!
I really want this crockpot because I only have one crockpot and I need two! Also, it would match my appliances in my kitchen, it’s fancy and hi-tech and who doesn’t love that, and I could make all of the recipes in the cookbook with my new shiny crockpot.
I signed up for email updates – thanks!
I rarely have time to spend hours and hours cooking a meal, so I LOVE the multi-tasking I can do by throwing healthy ingredients in the pot and then going about my other errands. I’m in desperate need for an upgrade from my sad 1980’s-era crockpot.
I have a large family and to be able to make healthy meals for them is a gift for me! I would love this crockpot so that I could use it for my families on the go lifestyle!!
I love slow cookers, because there’s nothing better than coming home from work to have dinner ready and waiting for you!
Slow cookers are the best. Put everything in; turn it on; go away; come back 4 hours later and dinner is ready. Who could ask for anything more?
I adore crockpot cooking, but I’ve had my crockpot forever, and would sure love a new one that didn’t look quite so “dated” — and programmable would be heavenly!!

I love throwing ingredients into the slow cooker and coming out with a dish!
I really love Steph’s blog. I could really use a new crock pot. Mine has been used to much it is looking really bad, and getting old and cranky. lol. Use it often to feed my family of 6. It has saved us from fast food many many times.
I am a busy working mother of 2 with a 3rd on the way and in the last year have started making more and more meals in the crock pot or “slow cooker” I cook in mine at least once a week. I am in the market for a new crock pot as I find my old cheapy one keeps overcooking my dishes. I would also love to own the cookbook as I am always looking for new recipes! Just subscribed to your feed .
I love crockpots! They make everything, and make you look like a star at the same time. It is amazing how much time they save you.

I love the slow cooker!! It’s how I started cooking and gained the confidence to try new things!!
Yeah for slow cookers!! With two little ones at home, I can use all the help I can get when it comes to dinner…and we use it for breakfast, too. Nothing like waking up to a breakfast casserole that all done!
I want a big beautiful crockpot because mine is 1.5 quarts. What on earth do you do with a 1.5 quart crockpot?
wow, could that help feed my family of 7
I really need a time-saving option for meals at home. We cook A LOT from scratch and our meal prep times often drag on for over a full hour. A slowcooker would be just the fix for that. Also, I desperately need pointers on how to actually use a slowcooker, as my few crockpot experiences have been utter and complete failures.
I also just subscribed to your news feed via my Yahoo account 🙂
And I fan’d you on Facebook!
And I just linked you on my FB Wall as well!
This crock pot looks awesome & the book too! Just in time for summer the best time (well anytime is good right?) to use a crock pot because who wants to heat up the house when its sweltering outside?! Thanks for this give away.
7 months ago I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. For several months we went back to eating the absolute BASICS – we’re talking a meat, two veggies, and some milk. EEEEK! Then I discovered the glorious nature of the slowcooker. Now that I’m finally getting my cooking legs under me and becoming more confident in my ability to cook gluten free, I am becoming increasingly dependent on the crock pot! My husband is active duty military and puts in his full days there and I am working on a M.S. thesis full time. It’s soooo hard to eat healthy when we’re both so busy, but because of diet and budget constraints, we don’t have the option of just running down the street to pick something up! The crockpot has saved me so much stress and time, but ours is in major need of help! It would be such a blessing to have one large enough to REALLY cook! Thanks for the giveaway and for all the hard work you put in to this blog! 🙂
signed up for email updates – can’t wait! I need all the help I can get 😀

I am really in need of a crockpot and I would love it if it was this one. I recently moved and my crockpot got left behind by mistake. I really need one!

I’ve also wanted Stephanie’s book for awhile.
I want a crock pot because i just discovered these great blogs with all these awesome crock pot recipes!
I love my slow cooker because I can prep food the night before and have it cook all night or start it in the morning and know that it will be ready that night. I could always use another slow cooker. Thanks for putting together this give away.
The slowcooker sounds like the perfect way to get a meal on the table for my husband and I before 9pm at night! We always end up doing bath, breastfeed and bedtime from 7-8pm each night with our baby so dinner always gets started after our son is in bed. With the slowcooker we could have our dinner ready to go just as our boy is being tucked up in bed. Now that would be nice 🙂

I have slow cookers on the brain! This one looks fantastic. Thanks for the giveaway!
I’d love to win a slow cooker because mine is a hand me down from my GRANDMOTHER. Yes, it’s old, still works but I’d love one that I could set a timer on the cooker itself and when the timer goes off it goes directly to the warm setting. Then I’d be able to cook more in the cooker during the work week and not just on weekends. Yes, this would be a great addition to my family!
I now follow you via RSS Feed – so glad I found your blog!!!

I love slowcookers because they save me money and allow for extra time to be spent with th efamily.
I love love love using my slow cookers! I’ll toss ingredients before leaving for work, then come home to a yummy-smelling house and an almost-effortless dinner.
Thanks for the wonderful site and the fabulous giveaway!

I would just love that awesome, smooth, cool looking crock-pot! I actually have two crockpots, but not one that has the programing capabilities, which would be very handy 🙂
Thank you!
I’d love one of these new crockpots. I have an old one that gets too hot and therefore I can’t leave it while I’m at work and only use when I’m home which kinda defeats the purpose 🙂
I try to slow cook every Sunday. Makes the house smell good all day.
I would LOVE a crockpot that worked! When we got married, I got three and returned EVERYONE of them! SO SAD when I think about it now, as I am dying to start using it on a regular basis!
Thanks for this opportunity!
I want this slow cooker because it’s programmable, which would be wonderful! My daughter asked for this cookbook for Christmas, and after I got it for her, I wanted one, too!
PICK ME! PICK ME! Do I ever need a time-saver!
Oh, I would love this!
I would love a new crock pot!
I would love this crock pot. I use mine all the time but it is getting pretty old. It is so nice to use a slow cooker, i can “make” dinner earlier in the day and not have to worry about it while i run around after kids and get my chores done! thanks!
I’d love an extra crockpot. My plan is to start using a crockpot to cook at least 4 times a week…. an extra crockpot would REALLY help!
I just received a small slowcooker from my sister at Christmas. I have become addicted! I make 3-4 meals a week in it! It is my new best friend! (Seriously!) I would be so blessed to win this contest!

Posted the link on my Facebook page encouraging all my friends to read this site!!
My slow cooker is really old and doesn’t have any kind of programming options. It would be soooo nice to upgrade. I use my slow cooker ALL the time. It’s a lifesaver with a young child to be able to throw something in during nap time and have it cook for me! I would love a copy of Stephanie O’Dea’s cookbook too. I use recipes from her blog all the time too.
I signed up for your email updates too.

Thanks for the give away!!!
I would love a slow cooker because I have a family of five that I struggle to feed on time about six days a week! I sure could use the help!
Thanks!
I love using a slow cooker. I use mine a lot while I am at work. I love coming home to a great meal. My slow cooker is getting old, and I really need a new one. This is such a time-saving tool and a great way to be able to cook healthy meals for your family.
I love the slow cooker because it saves me time and provides my family tons of homecooked meals!
I love using my crockpot and could really use another one! It works great for those busy days when you have things to do all day, especially when you’d normally be making dinner.
I’m the mother of 2 sets of twin boys…older ones are 4 1/2 and the little ones are 10 months old AND I work full time. I am desperate for help with dinner. By the time I leave work and pick everyone up and get them home, I have about 15 minutes before the little ones start to “crash” from being tired and hungry. I would LOVE a slow cooker and the recipes would be a life saver. Literally!
And I became a FB fan this morning!
My crock pot allows me to cook wonderful tasting meals without having to be in the kitchen during “play time”. I can not even imagine how much easier it would be if it were programmable like the give away.
I signed up for the RSS feed.
I became a facebook fan. Well, it actually is a facebook “like” today. Not sure why.
I shared your link on my facebook page.
As a student working full-time, it’s hard to eat properly. I grew up on my mother’s fabulous slow-cooked stews, and I would love to get creative and see what I could do with it other than soups. Plus, I feed an army- I have five roommates.
My oven is broken and I rely on the crockpot to rescue me.
I want a new crockpot because the tiiiiny one I have at home isn’t suitable for feeding myself and my hungry hungry fiance 🙂
I’d love to win this; we’ve got a smaller slow cooker, but this looks like it would blow ours out of the water.
A new crockpot would be wonderful. Mine is big,but not big enough.
I don’t have a nice book for crock cooking. One more crock, I would use another, certainly.
I work full-time and am active in my church community. I welcome quick, easy, and delicious ways to feed crowds of hungry people!
My crockpot is as old as dinasaurs and I need a big one. My big family eats a lot!!! Terri
I subscribed to raisinghealthyeaters by email and became a facebook fan!! I really hope I win because I loooooooove All-Clad and cooking with a crock pot.
I added this giveaway to my facebook profile and hope to win sooooooo much!
Just stumbled upon this blog and love it heaps! I often help friends by making extra and packaging it up to give to them so a slow cooker would take a lot of the stress out of this. I also would LOVE the book – I have been following her blog for ages now and use a lot of her recipes. Just joined your facebook page.

I would love a new slow cooker. I use mine soooo much that the handle is toast! Thanks for the giveaway!

I love cooking in a slow cooker. It saves time so I can play with my 3 year old.
I signed up for email updates. I love your website.
I love using my crockpot during the week. Its great having a meal ready when we get home from work.
My crockpot lid broke and it costs half the price of a new crockpot to replace, but can’t justify a new pot right now (I bought it just over a year ago).
I’m also a fan on Facebook!
My slow cooker gives me time to put in time at the gym after work and still have the time to eat healthy and maybe even get something done on a normal night!
I have two slow cookers and and one died about a month ago. I feel lost without it. I love my slow cookers and this would be great.
I would love a new slow cooker! I’m a huge fan of slow cooker meals and it would be nice to have an updated one to start my STAY AT HOME MOMMY job in just 6 short weeks!

I do need a slow cooker..
I like this crockpot! I would feel so “gourmet” versus my ancient “hi-lo-off” crockpot.
I’m a fan of Stephanie’s ‘A Year of Slow Cooking’ website. She has some good recipes and ideas on her website.
I would LOVE to have this crockpot and the cookbook! I always struggle to find ways to save time and still cook healthy meals for the family. I live in Germany and it seems really hard to get hold of a slow cooker over here. So I really hope I’ll win! 🙂
